Advanced Wine Tasting Course

September 26 – November 22, 05

The Asian Cultural Center is offering another in wine tasting. The class will last eight weeks and cover many wine regions. Each student will become familiar with the wine making process, multiple regions, the various grapes as well as the art and technique behind tasting.

Do you simply drink wine, or do you taste wine? Anyone can drink wine, but it takes practice to be able to recognize and distinguish a wine's characteristics.

Wine has not only become a social aspect of life, but has been known to be a great networking tool. This class will teach you more than just how to taste or appreciate various wines with friends, family or clients, you also learn about many countries’ culture, geography and customs.  You will feel much more comfortable picking a wine off of a wine list, in a wine store or pairing wine with dinner. Do not miss out on the opportunity to broaden your horizons and bring wine culture into your life.
