Pilates is a low to no impact exercise that focuses on breathing, core strength, posture and balance,
making it suitable for all levels of experience.
Instructor:
Angela has been practicing Yoga and Pilates for nearly 7 years. Growing up as
an athlete in gymnastics, dance and equestrian riding sports, she understands the importance of exercising both the body and the mind – a fundamental element offered in all programs at the Asian Fusion Studio – and integrating
this concept into everyday life. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs at Suffolk University, Angela began studying Hatha Vinyasa Yoga in both Boston and Providence. There she
obtained her 200-hour certification and later received her Mat Pilates certification in California. In 2004, Angela directed the Yoga & Meditation Program at one of Canada’s largest destination resort
& spas, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia before moving her career to New York. Angela is currently working her 500-hour certification with Jill Satterfield, founder of Vajra Yoga and
recent in-house instructor at Kripalu Institute in Lenox, Massachusetts.”
