Siegel. This three week show will explore the various mediums and artistic
expressions
Artist Statement:
My work is a reaction to
nature, life experiences and people. I get excited when confronted with a blank
canvas. It presents me with the opportunity to explore the interplay of color,
various media and a host of different topics to express myself. My inspiration
is derived from people, medicine, gardens and more abstract ideas. "Each of my
paintings are like independent fantasy worlds. I try to create unique,
meaningful yet abstract interpretations of serious subjects. I accomplish this
by building a close connection between science and imagery. My goal is to stay
on the cutting edge. I constantly seek new inspiration as I grapple with the
information overload pervading contemporary life."
PEOPLE "I do not
paint a portrait to look like the subject, rather does the person grow to look
like his portrait" -----Salvador Dali
GARDENS "In my garden there is a
large place for sentiment. My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts
and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and the dreams are as
beautiful" ------Abram Urban
MEDICAL "The most beautiful experience
we can have is the mysterious - the fundamental emotion which stands at the
cradle of true art and true science"-----Albert Einstein
ABSTRACT "The
goal of abstract art is to communicate the intangible, that which eludes the
photograph and normal seeing." -----Curtis Verdun
